Sharing is a good thing

SUNDAY IS COMING
Sign in for kids happens between 9:45 and 10:15 - the earlier the better though as the kids have activities set up to start at 9:45am.
If you get there after 10:15 you’ll find us all together in our worship space, sign your kids in and come and join us.

TO READ TOGETHER
Mark 12:38-44
The story of The Widow’s Offering can really get us thinking about giving. This story is a great reminder that God welcomes anything we give Him.

TO LEARN TOGETHER
Don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. Hebrews 13:16

SO I’M WONDERING…
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR KIDS (AND YOURSELF)
Sharing is a good thing. Who can you share with?
Talk about how your family decides how much money to give to church and organizations who help others.

TO PRAY TOGETHER
Give us grateful and generous hearts, O God. You give us all we need—help us to share all that we have like the poor widow. In Jesus’ name. AMEN.

TO DO TOGETHER
Set up a money box in your home. Designate a recipient for the money then spend a few weeks “sneaking” coins into it. Encourage everyone to contribute a little bit everyday and try not to get caught doing it. Count it all up and give it to the recipient you chose.

SOME KIDS TO PRAY FOR
Ask God to show you how to pray for each person.
Adam - in children’s hospital with complications from a broken leg
Felix - his grandpa, Grospapi, in Switzerland died a few weeks ago, pray for their family.
Miguel - the boy we sponsor who lives in Mexico
