Christmas Eve

SUNDAY IS COMING & SO IS CHRISTMAS!
The kids will be joining  the adults this Sunday morning for our Christmas Eve Service all together. They have a few songs they have practiced. I’ll attach the songs to the email so they can sing in the week :)
Those wise men are getting closer but they still won’t make it this Sunday, see if you can spot them in the gym somewhere. They’ll be close but not all the way to the manger scene.

TO READ TOGETHER
THE CHRISTMAS STORY!
If you have a kids bible read the story together at some point this week as we head towards Christmas Eve together on Sunday. It is such great news that Jesus came. We have Christmas because of His birth, He really is, as the cheesy statement goes, the reason for the season.

SO I’M WONDERING…
THINGS TO TALK ABOUT WITH YOUR CHILDREN
What do you think angels look like? How would you have felt if you were Mary or Joseph?
What is the best thing about Jesus coming to earth as a baby?

TO DO TOGETHER
This is a great time of year to invite your friends who don’t go to church to go to church and the fun thing this year is that Christmas Eve is a Sunday.

Hang the door hangers the kids brought home yesterday on a neighbours door and invite them to join you on Sunday morning as we celebrate Jesus and Christmas together.
If your child didn’t bring one home on Sunday there is one in the email that went to parents or on our bridgeKIDS facebook page for you to print out and colour. Punch holes in the top, attach ribbon or string and hang on your neighbours door with a note or hand it to them if you see them.

FAMILY PRAYER
Thank you God, for baby Jesus. All things are possible through You. Help us to remember that during this season. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
