God's glory lasts forever

SUNDAY IS COMING
We’ll be signing in children from 9:55am in the big space just past the gym entrance. If your kids are happy to they can run down to their classrooms after you have signed them in or you can walk them to their groups.

TO READ TOGETHER
Mark 9:2-9
The story this week brings together some important Old and New Testament people. Moses, the one called by God to lead the Israelites out of slavery and the prophet Elijah who was expected to return to Earth before the coming Messiah, with them are Jesus and three of His disciples. The point this week is that God’s glory is forever - in the past, present and future!

TO LEARN TOGETHER
The voice said, “This is my Son, and I love Him. Obey Him!” Mark 9:7b

TO DO TOGETHER
When you look up at the clouds on a sunny day (please may we have one), remember how God’s voice came to Jesus and his disciples through the clouds on the top of the mountain during the transfiguration.
What do you think God is saying to you right now?

SO I’M WONDERING…
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR KIDS (AND YOURSELF)
Have you ever experienced a moment when you felt like God was speaking directly to you?
What do you think Moses and Elijah and Jesus talked about on the mountain?

TO PRAY TOGETHER
Dear Jesus, We pray for your grace in our lives to strengthen us so that we can share your love with the world. Amen.

GENEROUS GIVING
