SUNDAY IS COMING
We’ll be signing in children from 9:55am in the big space just past the gym entrance. If your kids are happy to they can run down to their classrooms after you have signed them in or you can walk them to their groups.
TO READ TOGETHER
Jesus is the light of the world - that means everyone! Nicodemus asked Jesus some hard questions. Jesus doesn’t mind our hard questions at all. He wants us to ask Him. There are different kinds of questions to ask - yes/no questions, true/false questions, multiple choice questions and open ended questions. What kind of questions did Nicodemus ask? What type of questions do you think Jesus liked to answer?
TO LEARN TOGETHER
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish but may have eternal life. John 3:16
TO DO TOGETHER
Word about Jesus spread fast when He was alive. Nicodemus wasn’t the only one who asked Jesus questions. Let your older kids use a bible app on a phone or device or an online bible tool to look up Matthew 9:11, Matthew 19:3, Mark 2:24 and Mark 12:14
SO I’M WONDERING…
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR KIDS (AND YOURSELF)
How do you think Nicodemus felt when he talked to Jesus?
What is the hardest question you’ve ever wanted to ask?
If you could meet Jesus like Nicodemus did what would you ask Him?
TO PRAY TOGETHER
Dear God, as children of your light, you show us the way when we get lost. Help us be a light to other people: our family, our friends, our neighbours, and the whole world. Amen.
LISTEN FOR THE QUESTIONS
When you hear someone ask a hard questions, think about how Jesus would answer.
