God's love is big enough for everyone

SUNDAY IS COMING
This Sunday, after our meeting we’re having a BBQ hotdog lunch to which you are all welcome. A donation towards the cost of the dogs, veggies and chips would be appreciated. We hope you can stay and hang out for a while.

TO READ TOGETHER
Acts 10:44-48
God’s love is big enough for everyone!
When Peter was speaking the Holy Spirit came on those who were listening whether they were Jews or not. Peter saw this and realized that it meant that God loves everyone and that everyone, Jew and Gentile (non-Jew) was included in His family.

TO LEARN TOGETHER
‘I loved you as the Father loved me. Now remain in my love.’ Jesus.
John 15:9

TO DO TOGETHER
One symbol used to talk about the Holy Spirit is a flame.
Do some research on serotinous pine cones. Something surprising happens to these cones during forest fires. Can you think of anything else that gets new life from fiery flames?

SO I’M WONDERING…
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR KIDS (AND YOURSELF)
What symbols do we use to talk about the Holy Spirit?
Why were the disciples surprised when the Holy Spirit came down on the Gentiles?
Who do you think God loves?

TO PRAY TOGETHER
Dear God, You offer Your Holy Spirit to everyone. Help us to accept Your grace and mercy as shown through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN
The next time you see a dove, feel a gust of wind, or see a flame, remember that the Holy Spirit is in you too.
