We are family!

SUNDAY IS COMING
With the better weather we are doing lots of playing outside and having our story outside too whenever we can. Woohoo! Pick up will be back in the children’s group rooms to make it easy for you to find them at the end.

There is lunch after the service and then supervision for children on the playground during the meeting. Please keep your children with you until the youth are ready to take them out as the meeting begins.

TO READ TOGETHER
Mark 3:31-35
Jesus was being swamped by people wherever He went. His mother and brothers went to find Him because people were saying that Jesus was out of His mind. Jesus loved His family but His family was now much, much bigger. Read what He said to the people.

TO LEARN TOGETHER
“My true brother and sister and mother are those who do the things God wants.” Mark 3:35

SO I’M WONDERING…
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR KIDS (AND YOURSELF)
How is a church like a family?
What other families are you part of? (think wider than the people who live under your roof)

TO PRAY TOGETHER
Heavenly Father, we thank you for our families and we thank you for our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

TO DO TOGETHER
Make and decorate happy face cookies. Buy or make round cookies and have your children use icing or icing pens to decorate the faces, better still, grown ups do one too so you have a whole happy family set - take a photo before they get eaten and send it to Sarah.

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN
When you see parents and kids out together ask God to remind them that He loves their family.

JULY & AUGUST
To give the team a break through July and August I am looking for volunteers to hang out with the children during the sermons. If you can play with the babes&tots (up to age 2) or the kids (ages 3&up) please talk to Sarah or message in some way -
