What is the Kingdom of God like?

SUNDAY IS COMING
With the better weather we are doing lots of playing outside and having our story outside too whenever we can. Woohoo!
Pick up will be back in the children’s group rooms to make it easy for you to find them at the end.

TO READ TOGETHER
Mark 4:26-34
Jesus used stories to teach people and many object lessons to help them understand what His kingdom was like. This is one well known story Jesus told: the Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed… What does He mean? Read it and find out.

TO LEARN TOGETHER
Jesus used many stories to teach them. Mark 4:33a

SO I’M WONDERING…
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR KIDS (AND YOURSELF)
Why is the kingdom of God like a mustard seed?
If you were telling a story like Jesus, what would you say the kingdom of God is like?

TO PRAY TOGETHER
Pray the Lord’s prayer together or just this line from it - Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

TO DO TOGETHER
Collect the seeds from inside all the fruit your family eats this week. Make a picture by sticking them onto paper and talk about each seed having the potential to grow another plant or tree that will grow more fruit. Let it blow your mind!

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN
Go and check out strawberries growing in the fields right now. Look how many strawberries are on each plant and all the seeds on each strawberry.

JULY & AUGUST
To give the team a break through July and August I am looking for volunteers to hang out with the children during the sermons. If you can play with the babes&tots (up to age 2) or the kids (ages 3&up) please talk to Sarah or message in some way - 604 615 9406, bridgekidssarah@gmail.com, facebook etc...
SIGN UP SHEETS WILL BE IN GROWN UPS THIS WEEK - CHECK YOUR CALENDARS!
