Our God calms storms

SUNDAY IS COMING
With the better weather we are doing lots of playing outside and having our story outside too whenever we can. Woohoo!
Pick up will be back in the children’s group rooms to make it easy for you to find them at the end.

TO READ TOGETHER
Mark 4:35-41
When things get stormy (as they do) it’s great to know that Jesus is with you. He can calm storms.

TO LEARN TOGETHER
‘Even the wind and the waves obey Him.’ Mark 4:41b

SO I’M WONDERING…
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR KIDS (AND YOURSELF)
I wonder how long it took the wind and waves to calm down when Jesus told it to settle down. What do you think happened?

TO PRAY TOGETHER
Our Father, we often face difficult situations. We are thankful that you are with us in the storms and you are not afraid. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

TO DO TOGETHER
Build a boat that will float in the bath or a backyard pool. Make the water stormy and see what happens to the boat. When someone shouts ‘PEACE BE STILL’ everyone stop making the water move and see how long it takes to calm down.

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN
When you see a body of water think about how Jesus wasn’t bothered by the storm when everyone else was afraid.

JULY & AUGUST
To give the team a break through July and August I am looking for volunteers to hang out with the children during the sermons. If you can play with the babes&tots (up to age 2) or the kids (ages 3&up) please talk to Sarah or message in some way - 604 615 9406, bridgekidssarah@gmail.com, facebook etc...
