SUNDAY IS COMING
We take a break from our regular meeting together as just kids over the summer. The kids will join the adults for our sung worship and snack (coffee break) and then, adult supervision allowing, they’ll go out to play - one group for the little kids - up to age 3 and another for the older kids - age 3-10.

The summer doesn’t mean we take a faith break, in fact, you might even have more time to do things than you do in the regular school year, so, here’s a story and an idea for this week.

TO READ TOGETHER
Mark 6:6-13
It’s holiday time for many of us and there will be plenty of packing to be done. Use this as a contrast with the things Jesus told his disciples to take with them on their journey.
It seems like Jesus was telling his friends they were ready already, no prep or packing to do… What about us though, do we think we need to ‘be ready’ before we share the good news about Jesus? I wonder what we’re waiting for?

TO DO TOGETHER
Using modelling clay or Play-Doh make long snake-like letters to form GOOD NEWS! Talk about ways you can share the GOOD NEWS about Jesus with other people.

JULY & AUGUST
I still need more volunteers to hang out with the children during the sermons through the summer. If you can fill one of these gaps to play with the little kids (up to age 3) or the bigger kids (ages 3&up) please talk to Sarah or message in some way... (for the safety of your kids we need at least two adults/teens per group - thanks for your help!)
