"I am the Bread of Life"

SUNDAY IS COMING
We take a break from our regular meeting together as just kids over the summer. The kids will join the adults for our sung worship and snack (coffee break) and then, adult supervision allowing, they’ll go out to play - one group for the little kids - up to age 3 and another for the older kids - age 3-10.

The summer doesn’t mean we take a faith break, in fact, you might even have more time to do things than you do in the regular school year, so, here’s a story and an idea for this week.

TO READ TOGETHER
John 6:24-35
The crowd had eaten the food that Jesus had provided at the feeding of the 5000 and were eager for Him to do it again but He had a much better thing to offer them. Read the passage to see what that is.

TO DO TOGETHER
Make some bread together. Let the children help with kneading it or weighing out ingredients. When you eat it talk about Jesus telling the people that He is the bread of life. What do you think He means?

AUGUST
July was great, we managed to have both groups operating for pretty much every week. This weekend is totally fine thanks to the Redekop/Bloomfield/Warmerdam crew but the rest of the month could do with some more people. If you can fill one of these gaps to play with the little kids (up to age 3) or the bigger kids (ages 3&up) please talk to Sarah or message in some way... (for the safety of your kids we need at least two adults/teens per group - thanks for your help!)
