Good advice

SUNDAY IS COMING
We take a break from our regular meeting together as just kids over the summer. The kids join the adults for our sung worship and snack (coffee break) and then, adult supervision allowing, they go out to play - one group for the little kids - up to age 3 and another for the older kids - age 3-10.

The summer doesn’t mean we take a faith break, in fact, you might even have more time to do things than you do in the regular school year, so, here’s a story and an idea for this week.

TO READ TOGETHER
Ephesians 5:15-20
‘Be careful how you live’ is how this part of Paul’s letter starts out. It’s good advice for the Ephesians back then and good advice for today as well. This section ends with ‘give thanks’ - ask your children what they want to thank God for today.

TO DO TOGETHER
Stick a big piece of paper on the wall or fridge. Every day add each of you something that you are thankful for onto it until you have a whole page filled up with thankfulness. How does it make you feel to express your thankfulness?

AUGUST
Just two more summer weeks left! Time flies so fast! If you can fill one of these gaps to play with the little kids (up to age 3) or the bigger kids (ages 3&up) please talk to Sarah or message in some way... (for the safety of your kids we need at least two adults/teens per group - thanks for your help!)

DREAMING FOR THE YEAR AHEAD
Do you have any ideas about this coming year as you think about bridgeKIDS and about our church? Pray together as a family and ask God to speak to you about His ideas and then feed them back to Sarah so I can take them to our Steering Team Dream & Planning Day. Thanks!
