God gives us faith to be bold

SUNDAY IS COMING
We are back to the regular plan this weekend.
Sign in for kids happens between 9:45 and 10:15 - the earlier the better though as the kids have activities set up to start at 9:45am.
If you get there after 10:15 you’ll find us all together in our worship space, sign your kids in and come and join us.

TO READ TOGETHER
Mark 10:46-52
Bartimaeus is pretty bold in asking Jesus to help him. When he is told to be quiet he just shouts louder. Jesus hears him and helps him. I wonder what Bartimaeus has to teach us about faith in God?

TO LEARN TOGETHER
When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Mark 10:47
(if you want to simplify it just remember the part that is bold)

SO I’M WONDERING…
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR KIDS (AND YOURSELF)
What does it mean to you to be confident?
Tell about a time you needed Jesus to help you.

TO PRAY TOGETHER
Thank you, God, for the gift of faith. Give us faith to keep calling out to you like Bartimaeus did. Help us to know how much you love us and the world. Amen.

TO DO TOGETHER
Gather unused glasses from your family, friends, and neighbours. Find out about organizations that reuse them and learn where you can donate them - hint, start at a shop where they sell glasses

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN
When you wake up in the morning and open your eyes—going from darkness to light— think of Bartimaeus!

It’s good to know…
God loves everything that He has made
