God's creation is amazingly diverse

SUNDAY IS COMING - Dress is Neon or bright colours
We are running our regular plan this weekend but dressed in neon or brights to be like very colourful parrots.
Sign in for kids happens between 9:45 and 10:15 - the earlier the better though as the kids have activities set up to start at 9:45am.
If you get there after 10:15 you’ll find us all together in our worship space, sign your kids in and come and join us.

TO READ TOGETHER
Psalm 104:24-31
This week is all about parrots. Someone asked me last week if penguins were in the bible… and the answer? Not specifically but encompassed in creation, absolutely. The same goes for parrots. Read this psalm about creation and celebrate with the psalmist all the things that God has made. Parrots are beautiful and really clever.

TO LEARN TOGETHER
When you send your Spirit, you create them. You give new life to the ground.
Psalm 104:30

SO I’M WONDERING
(Some things to think about together)
Why do you think God made parrots so colourful?
Parrots are great mimics. Can you sound like someone or something else?

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN
See how many different birds you can spot this week. There’s a free app to help with identifying birds. It’s called Merlin Bird ID

TO PRAY TOGETHER
What a wildly wonderful world, God! You made it all, with Wisdom at your side, made earth overflow with your wonderful creations. Look at the sky, all the birds you have made are amazing. They are all so different, with different songs and patterns and habits. You are the best creator! Amen.

TO DO TOGETHER
Keep a simple list or make a beautiful collage of some birds that you see when you are at home or out and about this week.

GREEN GROUP BUDDIES
Buddies are go! If you are in the green group and you would like to be a buddy to one of the younger children then talk to Sarah when you sign in.
(you don’t have to but we’d love you to help by helping them and being a buddy to a littler person
