God created us for community

SUNDAY IS COMING - Last Sunday before KIDS Summer break
We are running our regular plan this weekend.
Sign in for kids happens between 9:45 and 10:15 - the earlier the better though as the kids have activities set up to start at 9:45am.
If you get there after 10:15 you’ll find us all together in our worship space, sign your kids in and come and join us.

TO READ TOGETHER
John 15:11-17
Giraffes live together in groups called towers. Isn’t that a perfect name for a group of giraffes! God is community - Father, Son & Holy Spirit and created giraffes and humans for community too. We need each other. Sometimes we call that family, or friends, or church but whatever we call it - we need each other just like giraffes do. This is one of the things that they can teach us.

TO LEARN TOGETHER
Here is my command. Love one another. John 15:17

SO I’M WONDERING
(Some things to think about together)
Why do you think giraffes were created so tall?
What do you think is the best thing about being a giraffe?

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN
Go to the upstairs of your house - or another building if your house is a rancher - and look out at the world from the height of a giraffe. How is it different from how you normally see the world?

TO PRAY TOGETHER
Creator God, thank you for giraffes and all that they can show us about you. Thank you for teaching us about community. Help us to love one another and care for each other like you care for us. Amen

ICE CREAM SUNDAE
This is our last bridgeKIDS Sunday for this year and before we take our break for summer it is ICE CREAM SUNDAE so get those tongues ready to do some ice cream licking!
(We will have gluten and dairy free options and everything will be fully nut free)

GREEN GROUP BUDDIES
Buddies are go! If you are in the green group and you would like to be a buddy to one of the younger children then talk to Sarah when you sign in.
(you don’t have to but we’d love you to help by helping them and being a buddy to a littler person)
