Let's pray - the Lord's Prayer

KIDS ON SUNDAY
We take a break from our regular meeting together as just kids over the summer. The kids will join the adults for our sung worship, a story/prayer moment and snack (coffee break) and then they’ll go out to play. There are little kids toys in the room opposite the library for you and your babes&tots to use in a self-serve play space and lego and colouring for the older kids in the library and corridor just outside it. I’ll be asking random parents and others to hang with the older kids during the sermon as I see who is there and how many people we need. A copy of the sermon will be emailed to anyone who volunteers later in the day.

KIDS AT HOME
Read Luke 11:1-13

Jesus’ disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray even though they had grown up with the prayers
of the synagogue and knew how to address God formally. They saw that Jesus had a different kind of prayer habit and so Jesus breaks it down and makes it simple for them. It’s so great we have it as a model to learn from too. Pray the prayer that Jesus taught his followers and learn to pray like they did.

KIDS ART CAMP & PLAY TIME
Let’s create!

Meet at Abbotsford Christian Elementary School between 10 and 11:30am. Come around the back to the playground area - if it’s nice I’ll have the art set up there, if not, we’ll be in a classroom - it’s so great to have the option for if it’s wet!

I have no team for this, so parents you’ll need to stay please! Bring a coffee and come and hang out.

COMMUNITY IS IMPORTANT
If you are doing something that you’d be happy for other families to join you in, like a lake day, the zoo or whatever, let me know and I’ll get the message out to all our families.

Let’s make sure that even though our kids won’t be together on Sundays through the summer in bridgeKIDS that they continue to connect through the Summer as being together as community is important for all of us.

Follow us on Social Media. I’ll post happenings there
