Let's pray - when you're bent out of shape...

KIDS ON SUNDAY
We take a break from our regular meeting together as just kids over the summer. The kids will join the adults for our sung worship, a story/prayer moment and snack (coffee break) and then they’ll go out to play. There are little kids toys in the room opposite the library for you and your babes&tots to use in a self-serve play space and lego and colouring for the older kids in the library and corridor just outside it. I’ll be asking random parents and others to hang with the older kids during the sermon as I see who is there and how many people we need. A copy of the sermon will be emailed to anyone who volunteers later in the day.

KIDS AT HOME
READ LUKE 13:10-14
There are two people in this story who are bent out of shape - one needs physical healing and the other needs an attitude adjustment. Have a read and see how Jesus interacts with both of them.

Whether we need healing or an attitude adjustment talking to Jesus about it is a great place to start.

COMING UP
SEP 1: CHURCH CANCELLED ON THE LONG WEEKEND
We will not be gathering on September 1 as it is the last long weekend of Summer. We hope you can get out and enjoy nature and worship God in creation.

SEP 8: BIG CHURCH KICK OFF
BridgeKIDS will be starting back up on September 8 followed by a whole church BBQ.

JOIN A TEAM
There are spots for people to serve one time a month in all areas of bridgeKIDS. Let me know where I can plug you into a team - it would be GREAT to have you!

COMMUNITY IS IMPORTANT
If you are doing something that you’d be happy for other families to join you in, like a lake day, the zoo or whatever, let me know and I’ll get the message out to all our families.

Let’s make sure that even though our kids won’t be together on Sundays through the summer in bridgeKIDS that they continue to connect through the Summer as being together as community is important for all of us.

Follow us on Social Media. I’ll post happenings there
