This Sunday is Father’s Day - how can dads teach us about God?
Bible for this week - Matthew 19:13-15, Mark 10:13-16
Parents brought their children with them to see and listen to Jesus. Some kids sat on their parents shoulders to get a better look. The parents pushed the kids forward which annoyed the disciples but Jesus welcomed them. This week we are going to talk about how our dads (as it is Father’s Day) help us know Jesus better and push us forward so we can meet him ourselves.
Let me know if there is anything specific I can be praying for you and your kids as this week unfolds. I want to support you in any way I can, please let me know how!
Last week I emailed you a survey, if you haven’t done it yet would you please take a minute (the average time for the 12 I’ve had back is 1 minute and 18 seconds) to answer the five questions - it’ll really help me as I plan moving ahead - thank you!

How do dads show us or teach us about the love of God?
This week’s challenge is to swing like a monkey - playgrounds are open but if you aren’t comfortable going there yet then you’ll have to get creative and show monkey like behaviour in another way - grooming, fruit eating... what else?
Video entry to me by Friday please
TO PRAY TOGETHER:
Lord Jesus, thank you that you welcome children and that we have a lot to teach grown ups but thank you for the dads and moms who push us forward so that we can meet with you. We love you and we love them.
Watch out on Wednesday and Saturday for zoom invites
