June 25 - LIVE CHURCH. A CELEBRATION!

LAST WEEK - JUNE 18
We talked about our Dads and how they show us a bit of what God is like. God is kind, strong, generous, loving, patient, teaches me things, etc. And using Psalm 65 we found all the ways that the Psalm writer saw God showing up for creation.

SOME THINGS TO TALK ABOUT AND DO
Don’t even worry about it! There’s not long to the end of school and that’s enough to be going on with. Enjoy any downtime you get in the middle of the crazy run up to the end of the school year.

A PRAYER
As you see crops growing, or fruit in a store, or even when it’s raining...

Thank you God, You take care of the land and water it. You make it able to grow many crops. Amen

GREAT + SMALL
This Summer we are going to be talking about GREAT and SMALL things that God might use to tell us about Themself.

This week we’ll talk about how BIG the love of God is for everyone, everywhere, always!

My soul keeps watch for the Creator, more than those who watch for the morning, more than those who watch for the morning. Psalm 130:6

THIS WEEK - JUNE 25
We are LIVE this week. This week is our gathering to celebrate Pride and I think we’ll fold the kids in with the adults for the morning. I am doing some of the speaking so I will include them in the way I communicate.

TO READ:
Psalm 113:1-9
This Psalm writer is inviting us to join them in praise of God who is praised from sunrise to sunset and from west to east, in every nation, and from the earth to the heavens. This is an expansive view that covers everywhere at all times of day.

I WONDER...
Can you make up a song to God that you can sing in the morning? What about a song to sing at night? What would you like to say to God? If you were a Psalm writer what would you write?
