This week’s story is a small part of Matthew 19.
It’s a snippet of a conversation between Peter and Jesus. It seems like Peter is saying, ‘we’ve given up a lot to follow you, Jesus, what’s in it for us?’
Have a look at Jesus’ answer. Read Matthew 19:27-30
SOME IDEAS TO GET YOU TALKING
Some people do wild things as they do their best to follow Jesus. Some of them become missionaries and go to far away places. Some of them give generously to help the needs of others. Do some research and see if you can find out about someone like this.
A PRAYER
Creator God,
You give us many, many ways to follow you. Thanks that we don’t all have to do it the same way!
