SOMETHING TO REMEMBER (MARCH)
God raised Jesus, to make him alive again after his death. Now God's Spirit lives in you. Romans 8:11a
THIS SUNDAY
We are on zoom at 9:30am
We will be doing some art, telling the story and playing and praying together.
YOU WILL NEED: Paper and colours, two stuffed toys, one to be Jesus and the other to play the role of the donkey
JESUS STORY
Because Easter happens too quickly and all in one week we are going to break it down this whole month into shorter stories so we can tell more of it. So although it isn’t Palm Sunday yet, this week we will talk about Palm Sunday in KIDS. Read it in John 12.
SOMETHING TO DO
Make a palm branch from green construction paper or newspaper that you paint green. Pin it up to remind you of the palms that people put on the road in front of Jesus and waved as they welcomed Him into the city.
A WAY TO PRAY - LISTENING
Over the next few weeks I will suggest a different way to pray each week to try if you want to. Some you’ll love, others not so much, but give it a try.
Listening is a part of praying. You can start by asking Jesus a question and then being quiet and listening for what first comes to mind (that’s often his response - don’t dismiss it)
