I am serializing the Christmas Story into very short segments and telling terrible jokes that are posted on our church Instagram stories and on the BridgeKIDS page on Facebook every day through this month.

Yesterday in Kids
We focused on Joseph and the surprising visits that he had from angels and the journeys that he took his family on. Our craft was colouring a wooden ornament because Joseph was probably a carpenter. If you didn’t join us yesterday there is a colouring sheet of Joseph and an angel and a wooden ornament for each child in your envelopes.
This coming Sunday
SAVE THE INSIDE OF YOUR TOILET ROLLS
We’ll be making stable animals this Sunday using those tubes so hang on to them this week!
We’ll be telling the story of the birth of Jesus and the visit of the shepherds and playing a few games together too.
This week is Christmas Sweater Sunday - so let’s see all those crazy Christmas sweaters/pyjamas/festive wear

Jesus, it’s getting near to Christmas and we’re excited. Help us remember to be kind to everyone this week in our excitement. Thank you for coming as a baby and thank you that you are the greatest gift of all. Amen
Last Week’s Big Challenge
Build a donkey! No one had a toy donkey at home this week so we’ll make our own.
- you could make it out of anything, Lego, playdoh, junk, paper, cardboard, amazon boxes... whatever you have at hand.
