Never alone - what is a family?

One more month before summer.
It’s June and we are running into Summer pretty fast here, we have some plans for summer and how that’s all going to work that we are just finalizing and I’ll tell you more about that and the dates of various things next week.
Hold please!

On Sunday…
We told the story of Isaiah being called by God and his response of ‘pick me’. And we also made a ton of things from playdoh and lego and made drawings on paper. It was a fun make.

NEVER ALONE! Challenge
Make a new habit - if you practice things regularly they become a habit.

This week’s challenge is a prayer habit:
Every day, at the start of the day, say,
‘Thank you God that You are with me. Here I am, pick me!’
And then watch to see what God will do with you in that day.

Worship Dance Party
Worship isn’t just singing…
Worship isn’t fabulous on Zoom and so I’ve put together a playlist on Spotify that we’d have used if we were face to face.

SPOTIFY PLAYLIST

This coming Sunday
Jesus was being swamped by people wherever He went. His mother and brothers went to find Him because people were saying that Jesus was out of His mind. Jesus loved His family but His family was now much, much bigger. Read what He said to the people.
Read it together: Mark 3:31-35

Learn together
“My true brother and sister and mother are those who do the things God wants.” Mark 3:35

Let’s Pray
Dear God, thanks for this story that shows us that the picture of your family is much bigger than we might think. Amen

Prep for Sunday - thank you!
We just need paper and colours this weekend

Question of the week
Ask yourself, ask a sibling, ask a parent, ask a friend - even ask a stranger…

What never fails to make you smile?
