Never alone - what is the kingdom of God like?

One more month before summer.
It’s June and we are running into Summer pretty fast here, we have some plans for summer and the details are being ironed out. Watch this space.
Hold please!

On Sunday…
We told the story of Jesus’ mama and brothers showing up and wanting to get close to Jesus. Jesus took the opportunity to let them know that everyone who loves God and does what he says (to spread love) are his family too. This makes his family pretty big, and that’s pretty amazing, and really good news!

NEVER ALONE! Challenge
Make and decorate happy face cookies. Buy or make round cookies and decorate the faces with icing or icing pens, do one for everyone in your family and don’t forget Jesus’ family is huge so you could make tons of them!
BONUS: Extended family - If you make a cookie of someone who doesn’t live in your home you could deliver the cookie to them.
Take a photo before they get eaten and send the photo to Sarah.

Worship Dance Party
Worship isn’t just singing…
Worship isn’t fabulous on Zoom and so I’ve put together a playlist on Spotify that we’d have used if we were face to face.

This coming Sunday
Jesus used stories to teach people and many object lessons to help them understand what His kingdom was like. This is one well known story Jesus told: the Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed… What does He mean? Read it and see what you think he means
Read it together: Mark 4:26-34

Learn together
Jesus used many stories to teach them. Mark 4:33a

Prep for Sunday - thank you!
There’s nothing to get ready this week, we’ll make the gathering of things part of a game.

Question of the week
Ask yourself, ask a sibling, ask a parent, ask a friend - even ask a stranger…

What would you say the Kingdom of God is like?
