YESTERDAY IN KIDS
Jesus’ friends told Jesus about Simon’s mother-in-law who was sick in bed, missing out on everything that was going on. Jesus went in and healed her and that was pretty amazing. She was all the way better and got up to make them lunch. Who do you know who needs to be made all the way better like that? Tell Jesus about them.

TO READ: Luke 3:21-23, 31-38
This is a repeat of Jesus being baptized but after it Luke lists all the people in Jesus’ family tree taking it all the way back to the most important. Have a read. Do your kids recognize any of these names from the stories in the bible?

He is the image of God, the invisible one, the firstborn of all creation. Colossians 1:15
A PRAYER:
Jesus, thanks for the people who are part of your story in your family. Thank you for the people who are part of our stories too. Help us to remember that we are all children of God when we go all the way back. Amen.
