TO READ: John 6:14-20
The disciples were out in the boat and the wind got up. Jesus wasn’t with them because he had stayed on land to pray by himself but then suddenly.
TO REMEMBER:
But he said to them, “It is I. Don’t be afraid.” John 6:20
A PRAYER
When I am afraid I remember you are with me.
When my friends are afraid, remind them you are with them.
When other people in the world are afraid, remind them you are with them.
Amen.
AN IDEA TO THINK ABOUT AND MAYBE DO
Take a photo of everyone’s scariest face - you could do it in the dark with a flashlight from below - that makes it super scary. Maybe you could print them out.
Can you think of a time fear stopped you from doing something you wanted to do? How do you deal with fear? Does it make a difference if you remember that Jesus is with you?

Do something (that is good) that scares you.
JULY 17 - WE ARE LIVE AT 10:30 AT THE LEGACY BUILDING
Kids group outside is taking a break for the summer live gatherings. On LIVE SUNDAYS there will be an activity box to pick up with some things to do during our gathering time so you can do and listen.
Pick up a box from the welcome table when you get to the building.
You can take home whatever you make but please leave the box and the other bits and pieces for next time.
