August 21 - LIVE

BRIDGEKIDS LIVE, AUG 21

TO READ: Mark 12:28-34
What’s most important? Love.
The teacher of the law interprets what Jesus is saying really well.

TO REMEMBER:
To love God with all your heart and mind and strength is very important. So is loving your neighbour as you love yourself. Mark 12:33

A PRAYER
Teach me how to love my neighbour as I love myself.
Show me who my neighbour is from the tiniest insect to the tallest tree and all the people and creatures in between.
Amen.

AN IDEA TO THINK ABOUT AND MAYBE DO
How many bugs and birds can you spot this week? They are our neighbours. Think about ways that you could love them.

AUGUST 21 - WE ARE LIVE AT 10:30 AT THE LEGACY BUILDING
Kids group outside is taking a break for the summer live gatherings. On LIVE SUNDAYS there will be an activity box to pick up with some things to do during our gathering time so you can do and listen.
Pick up a box from the welcome table when you get to the building.
You can take home whatever you make but please leave the box and the other bits and pieces for next time. Hunt inside and you might find a snack too!

LOOKING AHEAD…

SEPTEMBER 4: #bridgeselfiesunday
(no big group gatherings)

SEPTEMBER 11: KIDS IS LIVE OUTSIDE

SEPTEMBER 18: ONLINE AT 9:30

SEPTEMBER 25: KIDS IS LIVE OUTSIDE

For this school year we will be LIVE & OUTSIDE (bridgeKIDS in the WILD!) on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. By switching to these weeks we balance out the number of lives with the number of online gatherings.

My aim with KIDS in the WILD is to allow us to explore the characteristics of the Creator by exploring creation, to allow nature to speak to us and teach us about love and care. Jesus used creation as His teaching place and for many illustrations. We’ll try doing the same as Him and meet Him there.

I would love to have you (parents/carers) join the team one time a month for when we are outside. If we get lots of you want to join us to worship this way then it might even be once every two months. We’ll see how that pans out given numbers of both kids and adults.
