BRIDGEKIDS ZOOM, AUGUST 28

TO GET READY FOR SUNDAY

TO READ: Luke 19:1-10
Jesus spots Zacchaeus up in a tree and then invites himself to his house for dinner. This messed with the religious peoples ideas of what Jesus should do. Jesus often shakes things up.

TO REMEMBER:
The Son of Man came to look for the lost and save them. Luke 19:10

A PRAYER
Take a quiet moment.
Sit still
Say this in your heart or out loud “Jesus, I am here to meet with you.”
Then be quiet and see what you feel like, or think about or imagine.

AN IDEA TO THINK ABOUT AND MAYBE DO
Who could you invite to your house for a meal?
What will you have to eat together?
What games will you play?
Make a plan, send an invite and do it!

JOIN SARAH ON ZOOM THIS SUNDAY
Log in a 9:30am and we will make something together and tell the story of Jesus and Zacchaeus together.

You need:
Something to build and model with - really, it could be anything, from playdoh, to recycled packaging and tape, to clay, to lego, to other building materials.

SEPTEMBER IS COMING…

For this school year we will be LIVE & OUTSIDE (bridgeKIDS in the WILD!) on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month unless it’s a long weekend. This way we balance out the number of lives with the number of online gatherings.

This is the Fall schedule

My aim with KIDS in the WILD is to allow us to explore the characteristics of the Creator by exploring creation, to allow nature to speak to us and teach us about love and care. Jesus used creation as His teaching place and for many illustrations. We’ll try doing the same as Him and meet Him there.

I would love to have you (parents/carers/teenage siblings) join the team when we are outside. There are only five LIVES between now and Christmas so the more we get the more we can share this out. We’ll see how that pans out given numbers of both kids and adults.
