We are starting a whole new school year for Bridge KIDS. With only meeting live 5 times between now and Christmas we will add a few extra things in so we get to have some fun together - see the cut-out-and-keep plan.
This Sunday is a KIDS WITH THE GROWN UPS morning. Meet Sarah on the mats by the windows at 10:30 and we’ll have a special KIDS ROUND TABLE and I’ll set them up for the rest of the time with activities and ideas to help them engage with the singing and talking parts of our gathering. There will be a couple of tables on the floor in front of the front row (we’re calling this the PRAYGROUND) with paper and pens and other bits and pieces so they are able to see what’s going on, participate, and engage with our time together in their way.
If you have littles you are welcome to use the soft mats at the back after the KIDS ROUND TABLE and you might want to bring toys with you for them to play back there.
Our theme for the whole year is ‘Blessed (Happy) are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God.’ We’ll be looking at making peace in the wild world around us, in ourselves, and to some extent with others too.
The passages this weekend have us focusing on Jesus teaching his disciples how to pray using the Our Father prayer.
