Tell the story
We are telling the story of using the church year as our guide. We are continuing with Jesus stories through the year running in parallel to the adults in their gathering. Read the story with your kids and you’ll set the stage for all of you ahead of Sunday.
Yesterday
In our story Jesus found Philip who ran off to find Nathanael and together they started following Jesus. It’s much more fun when we do this with our friends. We thought about who we tell when we have great news and talked about our friends
‘GOD WITH US’ Challenge
In our friends
The ‘GOD WITH US’ challenge this week is to draw a picture of you and your friend doing something fun and then deliver, mail or just give them the picture (if they are your sibling) to let them know that you are thinking about them and happy they are your friend.

Jesus,
Thank You that You call each of us to follow You. Help us to live Your way by reminding us that You are with us every day. Help us follow your way of love! Amen
This coming Sunday
I’m going to take this week off and so there won’t be any kids gathering. I’m hopeful that there will be snow to play in instead. Looking at the weather, it might just happen. I’ll give you a colouring sheet if you want to do that together and you could read the story too. The story is Mark 1:14-20 and Jesus gathers a few more friends to be with him on the journey and there is also always the worship dance party playlist. have fun together!
