Easter Season - are you hungry?

GOD WITH US!
EASTER SEASON
Easter Sunday is the day we celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead but this isn’t a one day only kind of thing - Jesus is alive and that’s good news for every week! This is Easter, part 3!

On Sunday…
This week we told the story of Thomas’ encounter with Jesus. Thomas is sometimes called Doubting Thomas - I don’t think that’s altogether a bad thing but it’s also not the only thing about him. We talked about all the things that make us who we are and the important thing to know about asking questions (it’s okay!)

GOD WITH US!
Challenge: In Me
God has put lots of gifts and talents and good things in you - you are designed really well. Let’s figure out some of those things this week.
Ask yourself, “What makes me who I am?”
Ask your family members, “What do you think makes me who I am?”

Worship Dance Party
Worship isn’t fabulous on Zoom and so I’ve put together a playlist on Spotify that we’d have used if we were face to face.

SPOTIFY PLAYLIST

This coming Sunday
This week we’ll tell the story of Jesus appearing to the disciples again and how he shows them that he is alive this time. Read it ahead in Luke 24:36b-48

Let’s Pray
Jesus, this is still the Easter Season when we remember that you are alive. Thank you that you show us in lots of different ways that this is true like you showed the disciples in lots of different ways too.
Amen

Prep for Sunday - thank you!
Have your favourite snack ready to go. We’ll have a joint snack time at the end of our morning together. I’m going to get popcorn with chocolate dots, how about you?

Question of the week
Ask yourself, as a sibling, as a parent, ask a friend - even ask a stranger…

What would you improve in the city you live in, and why?
