Jesus is FAITHFUL

Jesus is …

Our theme for the Fall is the list of things the Holy Spirit produces in God’s people that is found in Galatians 5:22-23. We are taking one thing a week and thinking about how Jesus demonstrated or talked about that characteristic and how we can live it out loud as He shows us how.

This weekend the theme is FAITHFULNESS. Jesus is FAITHFUL. He says what He means, He does what He says and what He does is right and true.

The story this week is a story Jesus told, Matthew wrote it in his book about Jesus - Matthew 25:14-23. In the story the master calls two of his servants good and faithful. Have a read and see why he called them that and what made the third servant do what he did.
In Psalms 26:3 it says, I have always remembered your love that never fails. I have always depended on the fact that you are faithful.
Jesus is someone that we can depend on.

Think about it: Is it hard or easy to think of Jesus being faithful? Is it hard or easy for you to do what you say and say what you mean? Being faithful is about following through on something, when have you followed through on something good?
