Jesus is …
Our theme for the Fall is the list of things the Holy Spirit produces in us that is found in Galatians 5:22-23. We are taking one characteristic a week and thinking about how Jesus showed us that and how we can live it out loud as He shows us how.
This weekend the theme is GENTLENESS. Jesus is GENTLE. He shows gentleness in the way he interacts with lots of people.
Shepherds are fierce at defending their sheep and protecting them from predators. Gentle people use their power to help others. Read John 10:11-18 and hear Jesus talk about himself like a shepherd.
Isaiah describes God as a shepherd in Isaiah 40:11 - have a look.
THINK ABOUT IT
Is it hard or easy to think of Jesus being gentle? How is gentleness like strength? In what ways are you gentle with other people or with yourself?
THE GRAND PLAN
Sign in as a family at the entrance to the main building. Kids will get name stickers.
BridgeKIDS will spend the whole morning outside so dress appropriately for the weather.
There will be a story, craft activity, games, and a time for snack and reflection.
There are four spots open on the team at this point and I’d love for you to join us!

UNDER 3s
Two team members will be wearing red shirts that say, I WOULD LOVE TO HOLD YOUR BABY, and they truly would. They will be happy to have your under 3s to play with or walk around with during the gathering time. Please make use of them if you have littles.
They will get you if a diaper needs changing.
At the end you can find them downstairs to sign out your littles.
AGE 3 to Grade 1
This team will be wearing bright orange shirts, it’ll be hard to miss them! They will be at the kids sign in desk so you can say hi and get stickers.
They will be with your children on the playground and outside under the covered area for story, crafts & snack.
Find them outside after the gathering to pick up your children.
Grade 2 to Grade 5
This team will be wearing blue shirts. They will be at the sign in desk so you can say hi and get stickers.
They will be with your children in the under covered area and on the playground throughout the gathering. They will be doing story, crafts, snack and reflection with them.

THE CHALLENGE ABOUT FAITHFULNESS
Choose three things you want to do, write them down or tell someone else, see if you can follow through on them at some point this week and practice being faithful. (Don’t be mad at yourself if you don’t manage it, just try again)
