LAST SUNDAY - NOV 6
We met on zoom and talked about the temple as the place where the Spirit of God was from tent, through building made of stones, to Jesus who was the presence of God in flesh, to all of us who together are the place where God is. We made temples with the people as part of the walls (Ephesians 2) like this one.
THIS WEEK - NOV 13
It’s a long weekend - no gathering on zoom or in a building - week however here’s a way we can be together if you haven’t gone away and want to meet up on Sunday morning.
Let’s meet up (this is open to our whole church) at 11am at Fishtrap Creek, 31480 Maclure Rd, Abbotsford, under the big shelter near the the water by the middle parking lot. We will take a walk from there to enjoy creation and listen to what she has to share with us. Then we’ll gather back together under the shelter and decorate cookies which will form our communion as we eat together. It’ll be Wild Church!
Bring a hot drink with you for when you get back from your walk and dress for the weather - it looks like it might be chilly at this point in time.
I will stay put under the shelter so if you don’t want to walk you don’t have to but I think it’ll be great to take a walk around the water there and be with each other and the world around us.
If you aren’t able to join us at Fishtrap Creek take a family selfie wherever you are and send it to me so I can share on the socials and we can enjoy each others adventures.
