Matthew 4:18-25
Jesus calls his first few disciples and starts teaching in the synagogues. He didn’t only talk about the good story of Creator’s good road but also showed them what that looked like by healing every kind of sickness and disease for those who came out to follow him.
A PRAYER
Jesus, you gathered friends around you to go with you on the journey so you could do walk the Creator’s good road together. Thanks that we get to walk with you on this good road too. Amen
TO DO TOGETHER
Who are your friends? Who would you want to go on a journey with? Maybe invite them to join you on a hike this week.
AN IDEA TO THINK ABOUT
People came from everywhere to see Jesus so he could heal them. What would you ask from Jesus if you went out to meet him like they did?
WILD KIDS OUTSIDE THIS SUNDAY
We’ll begin inside - meet Sarah, Alisa, Tyson & Keaton at the hot chocolate station, and we’ll load up and go from there. We’ll head out when the adults get going and we’ll come back in at the end and bring children back to their adults.
DRESS FOR THE WEATHER.
It’s unpredictable, but this far out Sunday looks like it might be dry.
BRING A WARM DRINK or a travel mug/flask that they can fill up and we’ll have a warm drink spot during our time outside together.
