BridgeKIDS are joining with the kids from Emmanuel this Sunday.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8
Check in with Kathy & Lando when you arrive at church and we’ll get signed in so we can just leave when it’s time.
It is a Feast Sunday for us this week and if you arrive nice and early for the feast then there will be plenty of time to eat before going upstairs with Lando, Kathy and the team from Emmanuel.
We are starting at 10:15am this week so we have time to eat together as well as all the other good stuff we do in a morning.
Kids will go upstairs when we find out that the Emmanuel kids are on the move too.

For parents: This short interaction is about following Jesus. Jesus was often followed around by a big crowd, he was popular because of all the things he did for people, healing, helping and especially feeding them. But, what he said and did wasn’t always comfortable, he challenged the leaders especially and it wasn’t always an easy thing to live like he did. Jesus wanted people to know that they get to do the things he did too but that following him wasn’t all about excitement or fame and wasn’t always going to be easy.
A game to play
Play a game of follow the leader, make it easy at times and hard at others to follow the leaders movements and actions. Vary this by age and ability so that children can succeed as well have have to work at it.
PRAYER
Jesus, thanks that you believe in us. That you trust us to follow you and do the things you do. When it’s hard to do that, please help us. Thanks that we never do anything on our own and that you are always with us. Amen
